CONSECRATION
In the name of God, Amen. Whereas we did lately receive the petition of the Minister and Guardians of the Church of the Holy Trinity, Taradale, within our Diocese praying that we would be pleased by virtue of our Pastoral and Episcopal Office to consecrate the same. And whereas we have taken such petition into our serious consideration and have complied therewith. Now therefore we Donald by Divine permission Bishop of Bendigo do by virtue of our ordinary and Episcopal Authority separate and set apart the said Church being in length from west to east 78 feet, and in breadth from north to south, 22 feet, from all profane and common uses and do hereby dedicate the same to God and Divine Worship and consecrate it for the celebration of Divive service therein according to the rites ceremonies and usages of the Church of England. And we do openly and publicly pronounce and declare that it shall continue for ever hereafter so separated, dedicated and consecrated by this our definitive sentence and final decree which we make pronounce and promulge in these writings saving and reserving to us and our successors Bishops of Bendigo all ordinary and Episcopal jurisdiction rights and priveleges. Given under our hand and seal this fifth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven and in the eighth year of our consecration.
